MICRO STORIES WRITING WORKSHOP FOR WOMEN OVER 40
ALL PROCEEDS TO SUPPORT VANESSA LEWIS IN HER FIGHT AGAINST CANCER
In this 3-hour online class, writers will create micro stories–fiction, creative non-fiction or memoir written in 100 words or less. Micro stories are very generative for the creative mind, can be quite challenging, and are also just a lot of fun to write. This workshop will consist of time spent writing in company with each other, sharing/discussing our micro stories, and time for questions/discussion about writing as a career.
Prerequisite: This workshop is open to women over 40, writing at all levels.

INTRO FICTION WRITING INTENSIVE
Dates: Friday, November 10 to Sunday, November 12 (REGISTRATION CLOSES 11/3)
Times: 9AM to 12PM EASTERN, Online
In this weekend-long online intensive, we’ll cover the basics of fiction writing, including character, POV, setting, conflict and resolution. Beginning writers will have an opportunity to submit work in advance, up to 15 pages, for review by fellow writers during the workshop, who, along with the instructor, will discuss the work and give supportive, constructive feedback.
Prerequisite: This workshop is open to beginners. However, you should have a draft of a story, or novel excerpt, to submit 2 weeks prior to the start of the workshop.

INTERMEDIATE FICTION WRITING INTENSIVE
Dates: Friday, November 10 to Sunday, November 12 (REGISTRATION CLOSES 11/3)
Times: 1PM to 4PM EASTERN, Online
In this weekend-long, online intensive, more advanced writers will workshop short story and novel excerpts. Writers will submit work in advance, up to 15 pages, for review by fellow writers during the workshop, who, along with the instructor, will discuss the work and give supportive, constructive feedback.
You will need to have a story, or novel excerpt, to submit 2 weeks before the start of the workshop.
Prerequisite: To join this class, writer’s must have either 1) completed two sessions of my Intro Fiction Intensive, or 2) submitted a 3-5 page writing sample and gained permission for entry. Samples can be cut and pasted into the contact form at the bottom of this page.

NOVEL YEAR FOR WOMEN
Novel Year is a year-long writing coaching and workshop program designed to help women writers over 40 complete a draft of a novel. The program is broken down into group- and one-on-one sessions, scheduled throughout the year, each focusing on particular aspects of the writing process, as we
move towards your full draft. I’m interested in working with writers who can demonstrate an ability to follow through, and for this reason I’m selective in choosing writers to work with. Get more information.
